Composites in Finno-Ugric languages form a vast lexical stratum that reflects many linguistic features. Meaning of some composites' types is a result of their component words' juxtaposition and does not entail from the sum of the components' meanings. In Hungarian and Estonian languages, composites of this type form semantic groups and show metaphorization in the process of language nomination.
