The article deals with the problems of teaching Russian language to migrant children in the Russian language environment. Authors suggest the set of phonetic, lexical and grammar skills that ensure the establishment of listening skills. The need for an educational video course is explained. It’s based on short fiction films and contains a number of exercises that help developing phychophysiological mechanisms of listening to the foreign language text.
