The space of the Russian North, explored by the folklorist, is filled with objects connected with little known to him in the
semantic relationships, bodies of travelers are accustomed to other
bodily techniques, their life world, despite the apparent closeness of
the language, is significantly different from that with which they come
in contact on the road. And so the opening space becomes an active
force, first, revealing the structures of the internal experience of observers and, secondly, changing them. Phenomenology of field experience is considered on the basis of the material of the field records
