Significant mental burden in healthcare personnel when assisting patients at a drug abuse hospital may lead to professional burnout. The goal is to present the experience of evaluating the attitudes of medical personnel in order to create a program of measures to preserve their emotional health and optimize therapeutic care to patients. Using the author's methodology of unfinished sentences to cognitively and emotionally assess specialists, patients and treatment organizations, 104 employees of the drug abuse hospital in St. Petersburg, including 32 doctors and psychologists, 37 nurses, and 35 junior nurses. Employees aged 41.2 ± 1.2 years, with experience in the medical organization of 9.5 ± 1.1 years, 30 % of them were males. The distribution of personnel by groups in the contingency tables was homogeneous by cognitive and emotional evaluation of the selected vectors.
