The study of the problem of the relationship between stress resistance and ethnic identity was initiated by search for factors that could contribute to the formation of future professionals stress resistance. As a result of the study, it was found that the affective and cognitive components, as well as the positivity of ethnic identity, with less pronounced uncertainty of ethnic identity, are more pronounced in humanitarian students than in technical students. Stress resistance of technical students is higher than humanitarian, and stress sensitivity is lower. These studies were confirmed by a plausibility check using the R. Fisher coefficient. It was found that there is a relationship between stress resistance and higher education future graduate’s ethnic identity, confirmed by the correlation analysis method. The author's program and an original ethnic deck of metaphorical cards for the formation and correction of ethnic identity are proposed.
