Russian media humorous speech reflects the specific of modern communication. Media discourse exploits comic linguistic resources breaking the limits of historically formed satirical genres of journalism, and today’s studying of comic effects do not restricted by the traditional assessments of nor mativity and ethical correctness. Linguo-praxeological approach to the comic and media linguistic tools for analysis of the comic are used in the discipline «Humorous speech culture in journalism» taught to the master students of «Professional speech activity in mass media» program (SPbSU).
