The article is devoted to the problems and prospects in the application of the “soft power” of the Republic of Finland in the Russian Federation in the coronavirus era. The paper considers three key problems of functioning of Finnish soft power institutions under quarantine restrictions, describes the prospects for their development and possible adaptation options. The analysis of state documents, scientific articles, statistical materials, periodicals, and accounts of official representative offices of Finland in social networks was carried out by the methods of generalization, synthesis, and content analysis. Based on the obtained data, the main problens in the “soft power” application and possible options for further development of events were identified.
