The article deals with one case in teaching Russian to English-speaking students: translating English object clauses into Russian. Difficulties typical for the formation of such constructions in Russian are discussed. The algorithm of presenting the material which will help students comprehend the topic fully and thoroughly is suggested. Examples of translation of English object clauses are provided.
