The article presents the results of the study of the adaptation of Russian as a foreign language teachers at St. Petersburg State University to online learning in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Research method was the questioning. The results of the study showed that the adaptation was generally successful, but a number of new problems arose that needed to be solved.
