This article attempts to analyze and understand the course chosen by the Investment Committee of the Government of St. Petersburg in the development of the creative industry. The emphasis was placed on the preparation by the Committee of amendments to the Law of St. Petersburg “On the procedure for determining the rent for non-residential premises, of which St. Petersburg is a lessor”.
