The article reveals the opportunities of teaching argumentative strategies in English in future psychologists by means of psychological feature films. Students-psychologists study five strategies of individuals' behaviours in conflict situations. The argumentative strategies' acquisition includes some stages, during the second stage a film is divided into logically completed episodes to be discussed. As a result, the future psychologists are able to use the argumentative strategies in their professional activities.
