This article is based primarily on the field materials collected in the spring of 2018 in the Romanian (Vlach) village of Shipikovo belonging to the community and district of Zaechar in Eastern Serbia. This village is dominated by the Tsaran (Olten) subdialect of the Romanian language, as it is in the majority of Romanian-speaking settlements found in the historical districts of Kraina and Kluch (the communities of Zaechar, Negotin and Kladovo). As the comparative material for the vocabulary of Romanian subdialect of Eastern Serbia the authors used dictionaries created by the local scholars Paun Durlich and Lubisha lu Bozha Kichi. Besides that, in preparation of the article we involved modern Romanian etymological and definition dictionaries. The article is devoted to the everyday life vocabulary of local population.
