In the article, using the example of journalistic texts from the National Corpus of the Russian language and some periodicals, verbalizers of the concept "Law" are examined in their contextual surroundings – mainly in combination with verbs, which allows us to speak about stereotyped representations of native speakers that evolve in relation to laws, their violation or law-abiding behavior, reveals expressive and emotionally-valued connotations. The language of the media as a system that forms norms and enriching Russian with modern vocabulary is also a source of new semantic attractions, among which negative ones predominate. Separate features that characterize the particular aspects of the concept presentation are identified in the course of analysis.
