The linguistic analysis of the thematic diversity of articles on the political, economic and cultural aspects of cooperation between the Russian Federation, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Cuba for the period from January 2019 to March 2021 reveals certain trends. This article examines quality press news texts selected from a review of articles from Spanish-language periodicals published at www.prensalatina.com. We paid attention to linguistic ways of expressing opinions and evaluations both in news texts and in the texts of columnists. The events are not only described, but commented upon and analyzed, they have a wide range of linguistic means, since different types of information note have a large stylistic amplitude.
