Unifuzol (unifusol) has a pronounced endothelioprotective activity and is used as a supportive therapy of endothelium. The influence of unifuzol on the reactivity of mesenteric vessels in vitro and regional bloodstream was studied under conditions of model small intestine ischemia-reperfusion in rats. A dose dependence of these effects was observed. It was found that the drug injection to rats in all doses (52.5 - 210 mg/kg) ensured restoration of blood circulation in the small intestine to the base (pre-ischemic) level in the reperfusion period. Data of myography showed that unifuzol significantly increased both the contractile and relaxing ability of vessels. Significant endothelioprotective effect of unifuzol is a pathogenetic justification for its further study as a complex medicine for angioprotection in pathologies accompanied by endothelial dysfunction.
