The article discusses the contribution of family and non-family intergenerational relationships to overcoming the difficulties of the educational process of university and college students. The constructive and destructive influences of family intergenerational relations are revealed. The significant role of teachers in overcoming the difficulties of young people at the initial stage of occupational learning is shown.
