A new method of hierarchical systems of commodity, monetary, and mixed Stable Aggregated Units of account (SAU) construction is proposed. The method is based on consecutive generation of economical goods “baskets” with minimal volatility of exchange-value (purchasing power) indices. Some of these baskets of economical goods form the first level of the hierarchy. These first-level baskets may be combined into the second-level of SAU, and so on till a final basket, which includes all previously constructed SAU of lower levels. Such
hierarchical systems of SAU (HS-SAU) may be used for synchronous monitoring of exchange-value indices of different economical goods multitude. As an elemental example, a HS-SAU for two different markets is constructed: the first market contains “fiat” monies (national currencies EUR, GBP, JPY, USD), and the
second — precious metals (XAG, XAU, XPD, XPT). As two corresponding SAU (SAM — Stable Aggregated Money, and SAC — Stable Aggregated Commodity) for these two markets are constructed, one can define SAU of the second level — SAG (Stable Aggregated Good), which contains SAM and SAC as elements of the first level. This elemental HS-SAU was used for comparison “fiat” money and precious metals purchasing power indices daily dynamics during three years (2012–2014).
