The article analyzes the role of extra-textual and extralinguistic data by the interpretation of Paul Celan's poems. The object of the research are intexts from Celan's collected poems «No-One’s-Rose», which form part of Celans biography. The article notes the need for combination of historical and allegorical interpretation, when the historical context can be reconstructed.
