The relevance of the article is due to the constant search for the optimal way to teach a foreign language, especially when studying in a non-linguistic University. In this article, special attention is paid to the project method as a promising technology in teaching a foreign language. The purpose of the article is to put forward a hypothesis that the project method in modern conditions has a positive impact on the educational process. In this article, the project method is considered, analyzed and expanded by the cross-cultural component. The theoretical significance of the article is due to the rationale for the use of cross-cultural projects in the teaching process. Practical significance can be called the introduction of the method of cross-cultural projects in the educational process. This technology can be used for teaching bachelor’s and master’s students, and may be of interest to all students who are studying and improving a foreign language.
