The article considers the technology myth of a status person in the media discourse. The results of the semantic, discursive and content analysis of media texts on a resonant information issue allows us to understand what public moods are formed in the media. The article summarizes the nomination-antinomies of D. Trump in the Russian and American political discourse in the context of the information confrontation between Russia and the United States. The article purpose is to demonstrate the antinomy of the status subject nominations in the media before and after the important political event.
