In this article from the linguistic and culturological points of view are analyzed the colloquial language of the city of Odessa, its originality, Past and Present situation, which is firmly rooted in modern Russian culture and has become an integral part. Its marked recognition by the native Russian people, characteristic intonation, words, phrases are not disputed and are still the subject of comic creation, they are imitated in Russian cinema and in modern mass-culture.
