Trace metals are dangerous pollutants for the environment. Comprehensive ecological and geochemical research of lakes of Murmansk has to include the analysis of trace metals content in different natural components. This work is focused on investigation of morphological and chemical features of technogenic particles that were collected from snow cover of the Srednee lake in April 2019. The lake is located within urban territory of Murmansk. It was found that the particles are predominantly made up of Fe, V and Ni. The conclusions about potential industrial source of this type of pollution were made.
