The article deals with the R. Rorty’s and T. Rockmore’s interpretation of Hegel’s philosophy. There is the “hermeneutic turn” in contemporary analytical philosophy, especially in epistemology, philosophy of history and symbolism in arts. The most important Hegelian ideas are: 1. Historicism; 2. Personalism; 3. Historical character of philosophy; 4. Linguistic symbolism. The attention to Hegel’s philosophy, as is assumed, transforms the image of recent analytical tradition.
