The author is inclined to solve the problem of intertextuality on the basis of opposition “meaninful” vs. “meaningless” coincidences, and offers the hierarchy of textual interactions. An important factor in hidden quote's recognition is writer's belonging to “citatory” or “non-citatory” poets, as Vladimir Markov has called it.
