Based on official statistics, the article characterizes the representation of women in different branches of government in Russia at the federal, regional and municipal levels of government. It is noted that in general in the sphere of state and municipal administration in Russia there are more women than men. At the same time, men predominate among those who fill top positions at all levels of government and in all branches of government.
