The article is devoted to analysis of conditions and development of official political discourse in modern Russia in conditions of narrowing of field of public policy, on one hand, and the processes connected with change of the president of the country, on another hand. As an empirical material the texts of weekly magazine of the Government of St.-Petersburg "Petersburg Diary" and monthly magazine of Stationary Committee of the Allied State of The Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation "Allied State" have been used, along with the statements of main translators of official political discourse, devoted to Russia-Ukraine and Russia-Georgia relationship.
