This study investigates the relation of parenting stress in mothers of young children and relationships with their spouses and parents in childhood. The study involved 51 mothers aged 20 to 45 with children aged 2-4 years. The study assessed parent-child relationship by the Parental Attitudes Questionnaire (Romanova E. V., Galimzyanova M. V.). The relationship with the spouse was measured by "satisfaction with marriage" (Yu. E. Aleshina). The parenting stress was measured by the "Parenting stress index-4" ( Abidin R.). Data processing: analysis of the average, comparative analysis, correlation analysis. It was found that the greatest impact on parenting stress in mothers raising young children is observed with a low level of acceptance of a woman by her mother. Low satisfaction with the marriage of mothers is associated with a more negative assessment of the child's behavior. The hypothesis that the increase in the level of parenting stress is associated with such family factors as the relationship with the spouse, the relationship with their own parents in childhood is confirmed.
