The article discusses the techniques used by Norwegian author Jon Øystein Flink to create the so-called sound poetry. They are the use of primary and secondary interjections, their variants and combinations; the use of refrains characteristic of Norwegian vocal and children's folklore, and neologisms created by the author on the basis of the same sounds and their combinations; interaction of lexical semantics and phonosemantics.
