Relevance of the research: As sociological research develops in sociology, attention is growing to the analysis of the sphere of values, value attitudes and value orientations. From a sociological perspective, the role of value orientations in human life is one of the important means of choosing people’s behavior. The purpose of the study is to empirically identify the perception of the value of sports by young people. Research methods: the research method is a sociological survey. Practical significance: when studying the value orientations of a personality, the emphasis is on the influence of social attitudes of society on the internal motives of personality behavior.
