The article examines the significance of the Imperial Chamber Court (Reichskammergericht) in the reception and implementation of Roman law in Europe. The author briefly outlines the history of the court and refers to historical sources to identify patterns in the adjudication of cases by this court. The final part of the article focuses on the examination of a notable case, which provides insight into the practice of applying Roman law in the Reichskammergericht. The author argues that the Reichskammergericht was the cornerstone of the practical implementation of Roman law in Europe.
