The purpose of the study is to reveal the essence of educational values in the philosophical concept of Taoism. The article focuses on the educational values in the concept of the Chinese thinker Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu. The content of the concept of "tao" is determined at the moment of its, and it is embodied in our life. It is noted that Taoist educational values are more focused on personal development and the study of natural truths. The article provides a comparative analysis of the basic values of Taoism and Confucianism, describes the main features of the Taoist doctrine. The author gives viable recommendations on the current state of modern education.
