The famous Japanese economist and philosopher Yanaihara Tadao was one of the few who dared to speak out against the policy supported by Japanese authorities before the Second World War. Even being on penalty of death, he continued to uncompromisingly reveal the unjust actions of the Japanese government on the continent, trying to make the Japanese return to the right path by propagating Christianity. The article is dedicated to the concept of the “dolorous man”, a prophet and a truth lover, whose ideas have never been understood by the crowd, but who in a period of ultimate crisis is ready to sacrifice himself for the heavenly Truth.
