N2 - The article considers party media patterns as a special segment of media sphere development. The quality of patterns is determined by the specifics of political processes and changes in the social environment of media, which are the result of technological progress influence. The authors note the increasing trends toward unification of party press national models in the countries with similar types of political systems. They analyze the relevant experience of the party network editions of German leading political parties (Social Democratic Party of Germany, Christian Democratic Union of Germany/Christian Social Union in Bavaria, and Free Democratic Party). The authors conclude that German party journalism traditions of public political debate still exist, and the editorial practices of interactive network technologies are used intensively. The study refutes the hypothesis about growing importance of German party press in recruiting new members.
