The novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2 had killed more than 4.8 million patients worldwide since the start of the pandemic. In most cases, the main cause of death is acute pulmonary heart failure but vascular complications also contribute to the structure of mortality from this disease. In this regard, the frequency of these complications was studied in a hospital reprofiled for patients with COVID-19, and the possible risk factors leading to the above-described complications were investigated.
