The article is devoted tothestudy of theproblem of assessing thecompanies’ readiness for digital transformation.
The following research questions are under discussion. How company representatives associate flexibility
and initiative with readiness for digital transformation? What is the real practical support for these corporate
values by the company’s management? The results of a survey of representatives of Russian companies that
provide answers to these questions are presented. For a reasonable interpretation of these results, a case-study
on the issues of planning the content of training in large Russian companies was carried out.
