Hercynian argillaceous melange of Maidan (S Ferghana) consists of plates and blocks of different PZ2, PZ1 and possibly PR2 sedimentary and partly ophiolite formations in Silurian shistose matrix. Melange separates PZ2 allochthones of shelf and pelagic origin overthrusted to Alaic microcontinent.-English summary
