The article covers the features of person’s certification, the sphere of professional activity of which is financial market: financial market specialists, actuaries, appraisers, auditors, consultants on taxes and duties. A comparative analysis certification professionals of the financial sector on a defined criteria is implemented. Problems, considered as directions of improving the current system of certification in the financial market, are identified.
