The article presents the experience of creating and implementing an online platform in teaching practice. It is the Media Dictionary of current key words (dataslov.ru). It gives an idea about the advantages of applying to lexicographic practice in the process of teaching future journalists and public relations specialists. The reasons for the idea of such an educational resource are outlined and the first results are presented.
