It is shown that the rotation of polarization can lead to the appearance of a third maximum in the scattering cross-section depending on the wavelength. It is also shown that the amplitude of the maxima can be controlled by changing the direction of
polarization of the incident light. We use full-wave method based on the direct solution of wave equations for the electromagnetic field components in the package Comsol Multiphysics.
