The article studies the age peculiarities of adolescents, describes the strategies of behavior in conflicts and conflict situations. This age is a crisis period in a person’s life. The teenager is poorly managed emotions and behavior and it often affects relationships with others. The choice of a strategy of behavior in the conflict by a adolescent is an urgent topic, as an inadequate reaction to the conflict or finding the wrong solution to the problem entail negative consequences, especially in adolescence, when there is a formation of personality. There are 5 strategies of behavior in conflict situations: competing, avoiding, accommodating, collaborating and compromising. The analysis of the results of an empirical study of the most preferred strategies of behavior of adolescents in conflict situations using a set of selected techniques: «Conflict Test» Knobloch-Falconette and «Assessment of ways to respond to the conflict» Thomas-Kilmann. The tools for their psychological correction in the form of metaphorical associative cards, taking into account the mentality of the person, as the most important thing for a person is to work psychologically with the stimulus material, which is closer to him in culture, so we created a deck, which depicted the heroes of the poem «Ruslan and Lyudmila».
