The paper examines the treatise Isagoge Dialectica written by George of Trebizond, a 15th-century Greek philosopher, who introduced Ancient and Byzantine heritage to the Western world. The author considers the doctrine of categorical syllogism in order to identify George's sources. It seems that Epitome Logica by Nikephoros Blemmydes can be one of these sources.
