The article is devoted to the analysis of the prevention programs of neglect and juvenile delinquency implemented in St. Petersburg by organizations of the third sector, namely the Charity Fund «Center for Social Adaptation of St. Basil», ANO «The Commonwealth of Counteracting Child- Teenage Disadaptation «Hero». The article uses data from expert interviews , as well as an analysis of statistics on juvenile delinquency. The results of the study allow to conclude that it is necessary to expand the preventive activities of NPOs under conditions of interaction with state organizations and expand the range of social services.
