The article examines the peculiarities of psychological mechanisms of translators' speech activity in the light of linguo-didactic problems. The author describes the functioning of psychological mechanisms of interpretation, speech memory, predictive analysis and synthesis. The paper emphasizes the necessity to organize translators' training in such a way that natural abilities become the basis for the development and improvement of all psychological mechanisms of students' speech activity.
