The article analyzes the problems arising from information globalization and the development of technology, and it also discusses how these problems affect Chinese media. The authors explore the conditions for preserving the national tradition of mass culture in cultural context. An attempt is made to understand the development of Chinese journalism under the influence of foreign culture. Meanwhile, this article explores the internal factors that preferentially influence Chinese traditional culture. By contrast, today’s Chinese media retains the features of traditional culture. For instance, talk shows are permeated with national color, and the decoration of TV studios and stage platforms has formed a national style. The experience of the Chinese press in safeguarding the national tradition is of great significance to the whole world.
