The article is devoted to Integrated groups of companies (IGC) in today's Russian economy. Special attention is given to definition of IGC and to specifics of classifying IGC. The author points out, that it is not possible to use foreign ways of management on the full scale, and proposes to classify IGC according to the features that influence the forming of management structure most of all. The author presents the results of the analysis of 50 IGC of St-Petersburg with their most important characteristics.
