The article is devoted to the post-Soviet period in the work of B.D. Parygin. The content and features of Parygin's works of this time are disclosed. In the post-Soviet period, Parygin published two large monographs, where Parygin integral conceptual system of Social Psychology as a science, which he had been developing throughout his life, and his structural dynamic approach as a method of socio-psychological analysis were comprehended and conceptualized at a new level. In the post-Soviet era Parygin focused on the dynamics of socio-psychological states of the individual and society, topical in the concrete historical aspect; the mental state of the personality, which determines the actual possibilities for realizing the potential of the personality through a system of socio-psychological barriers. An important place in the work of Parygin in this period takes the problem of the links between theory and practice. It is shown that in the system of Social Psychology by Parygin, theory and practice act as parts of a single whole. An example of such unity in the developments by Parygin in the post-Soviet period was his authorised model of post-diagnostic training of partnership, presented in three editions of the Practicum on socio-psychological training edited by Parygin.
