The article is devoted to the problem of intellectual origins and socio-cultural foundations of the historiosophy of Eurasianism. At the beginning of their research they make an attempt to make a semantic difference between the concepts of “philosophy of history” and “historiosophy. In particular, they note that the “philosophy of history” is characterized by a retrospective interest in the past, which sets the logic of social development to the present moment. The present in this approach is considered as the final stage of the historical process. Therefore, the philosophy of history is always from the position of assessing the past. For historiosophy is characterized by the interest of the future prospects, as the implementation of what is given by the activities of the people of the present. The authors argue that historicism understanding of human existence in the world is a higher degree of consciousness of freedom. From their point of view, the historiosophical tendency is most pronounced in Russia and Germany. Eurasianism as a scientific and philosophical trend is a conceptualization of the national ideas of modern Russia. This is due to the fact that all of humanity experiences the unity and integrity of a vast space, which makes it strive to express, transform its wild, unbridled, alluring charms into the perfect beauty of human culture. This is due to their special civilizational status in the structure of European civilization. In Germany, the historiosophical trend was realized in geopolitical strategies. In Russia, it is implemented in the context of the Eurasian worldview. In conclusion, the authors show the reasons for the difference between the historiosophical models of Germany and Russia.
