At the present time instances of forceful way to resolve conflicts in school are not uncommon. The modern educational space of the school is a potentially conflict environment. The article
uses the data of the third wave of the study of changes in the perception and selection of information by young people and the data of an anonymous survey of schoolchildren to assess their subjective perception of intra-school violence. The reasons that complicate the introduction of mediation
in the Russian school are analyzed.
