Old Turkic vocabulary is a huge layer of common Turkic vocabulary, which is the subject of numerous studies. One of the difficult issues of studying the Old Turkic vocabulary is the question of the interpretation of pair words. The paired words of the model “name-name”, “verb-verb” etc. are characteristic for the Old Uyghur language, in contrast to the other Old Turkic languages recorded in monuments, the interpretation of these paired words raises certain questions.
