The study of translation issues inevitably includes the problems of analysis of text tonality and specifics of its transmission by means of another language. Emotiveness plays an important role in intercultural dialogue and consideration of this aspect contributes to the quality of translation. Until now, in Arabic studies little attention has been paid to the aspects of text tonality. The purpose of present research aims at analysis of means of expressing emotiveness in the text of the Qurʾān. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the emotiveness of the Qurʾānic language depends not only on the periodization of the suras but can be traced at all linguistic levels. From the point of view of syntax, the frequent use of emphasis, the use of antonymic constructions and particles, enhancing the degree of statements tonality, are noted. At the vocabulary level, the frequency of verbs and adjectives with emotional coloring, as well as interjections, are manifested. The implementation of various derivational models that convey the meaning of reinforcement of action, forms of imperative and enhanced mood of the verbs demonstrates the morphological features of the text of the Qurʾān. Comprehensive sentiment-analysis of the language of the Qurʾān helps to improve the understanding of its content and contributes both to the study of Classical Arabic and to the studies of a typological nature.
